UFOs are unidentified flying objects: no one knows exactly what they are. Many researchers use various theories and hypotheses to explain what UFOs are, but since no one can study UFOs in a scientific laboratory, all these ideas are nothing more than scientific assumptions. Illusory ships hung in the air for a long time, lighting fires, as it was in 218 BC. All these facts (in fact, there are many more of them) are worthy of the closest study. There is a list of hundreds of UFO sightings made in antiquity and the Middle Ages. At the same time, it must be borne in mind that the most important part of the evidence has not reached us at all, so that we have at our disposal only grains of information.
For example, on March 6, 1716, the astronomer Galei saw an object that illuminated the sky for two hours so strongly that one could read printed text. After two hours, the brightness of the glow decreased.
In the middle of the last century, not only a large number of objects were noted that crossed the disks of the Moon and the Sun, but disks and spheres located on the Earth were often described! This is very important, given that the objects seen on the sphere of the Sun and Moon could simply be the result of an optical defect.
The first description of a UFO landing in the twentieth century refers to the spring of 1909, as well as the characteristics of the \operators\ who were next to the ship. Both ancient and modern surveys by both scientists and the public tell of flying discs in the sky and of objects seen on land and at sea. However, it is only today that they have become associated with so-called \aliens\ and the idea of interstellar space travel. But this does not mean at all that in the distant past these phenomena, interpreted in accordance with the ideas of that time, did not represent the significance that they represent today.
So who are they - the messengers of \alien civilizations\ or our neighbors, who have always been there, in a world hidden from our perception?
